Gupshup Chair
Kursi Jo Sunti Hai, Bhulti Nahi
##What you built, how it decides, and what it does not know
###What you built:
A single sensing node (the chair). The chair records audio only while a person is physically sitting on it, and stops the moment they stand up. Each sit produces exactly one clip, closed out at stand-up, retrievable later only when someone asks.
###How it decides:
The whole decision rests on one number and one threshold: a pressure reading, checked roughly once a second. Above the threshold = occupied = recording runs. Below the threshold = not occupied = recording stops.
###What it does not know:
- It doesn't know who sat down, whether any of it mattered. It only knows a body was present and a clip exists for that interval.
- If the mic fails or disk is full mid-sit, it still logs that the sit happened. It just doesn't know it's missing the clip in any deeper sense; the gap is simply recorded as no audio attached.
- It performs no transcription, analysis, or scoring. It has no knowledge of content, meaning, or importance, only the existence of a recording tied to a sit event.
